The Little Mermaid
A Celebration of Creativity, Love, and Community
We had the joy of witnessing something truly special: the presentation of The Little Mermaid performed by the students of Plumosa School here in Delray Beach, Florida. As parents, as a family, and as members of this community, we feel deeply grateful to be part of such a beautiful educational and social environment.
A Community Built on Love and Values
This experience goes far beyond a school play. It reflects the values that are being planted in our children every single day love, respect, creativity, freedom of expression, and a sense of safety that allows them to truly be themselves. Seeing my daughter share this moment with her friends, classmates, and teachers filled us with pride and emotion.

Through my work, I have documented stories, events, and people all over the world. This time, I had the honor of doing it for my own daughter.
Wherever she goes, at every step of her journey, I will always be there to document, support, and share her path with her friends and community.
This reportage through photos and video is a small tribute to a moment that meant so much to us.
The effort behind this production was inspiring. Every child worked incredibly hard, and it showed on stage.
Where Stories Come to Life
The stage became a world of imagination, where each child stepped into a story and made it their own. With confidence and joy, they transformed a simple space into a place where dreams, emotions, and creativity could truly live.
Lighting the Emotion
The lighting guided our eyes and our feelings, highlighting every movement, every expression, and every magical moment. It gave depth to the story and helped bring the ocean of The Little Mermaid to life on stage.

Behind every scene was the careful work of directors, teachers, and creators who shaped this experience with patience and passion. Their guidance allowed each child to shine, creating a performance filled with heart, purpose, and artistic freedom.
Meet the cast
The actors and actresses are the heart of the production. Through their voices, movements, and expressions, they bring the story to life on stage. With courage, dedication, and imagination, each child steps into a role, sharing emotion, creativity, and joy with everyone watching.
United in Creation
The camaraderie among the actors, actresses, directors, and crew was felt in every moment of the play. Working together with trust and respect, they supported one another on and off the stage, creating a shared experience where teamwork, friendship, and creativity came together as one.
Bringing Characters Alive
Costumes and dressing are essential to storytelling on stage. Through colors, textures, and details, each character is shaped and revealed, helping the actors fully step into their roles. Dressing transforms imagination into something visible, allowing the story and its creatures to come to life before our eyes.
A Living Canvas
The stage was filled with color, movement, and sensation, creating an immersive world around the performers. Every light, backdrop, and detail worked together to surround the audience in emotion, turning the space into a vibrant environment where imagination and storytelling flowed freely.
